At least 29 people were injured in a Brooklyn subway shooting, as a masked gunman set off a smoke grenade and opened fire inside a subway car.
The gunman — who is still on the loose thanks to being able to openly wear masks without being questioned — was wearing a “green construction-type vest” and gas mask when he launched his assault aboard a Manhattan-bound N train around 8:24 a.m. just as the subway was pulling into the 36th Street station in Sunset Park, NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell said during a news briefing at the scene.
“An individual on that train donned what appeared to be a gas mask. He then took a canister out of his bag and opened it,” Sewell said. “The train at that time began to fill with smoke. He then opened fire, striking multiple people on the subway and on the platform.”
The suspect shot 10 people, including five who are in critical but stable condition, the FDNY said. Some of the victims suffered smoke inhalation, but none of those injured has life-threatening injuries, Sewell said. A pregnant woman was among those hospitalized, sources said.
A .380 handgun was found inside the station, along with three extended magazines; one was empty, one was full and a third was jammed in the gun.
The suspect, described as a black male, weighing 180lbs and approximately 5ft 5in tall, is still on the loose. DailyMail.com obtained an alert that was issued to officers telling them that the suspect may be traveling in a U-Haul with an Arizona license plate.

Convenient terror assult to launch another attack on our freedoms?
Like Clockwork, less than 24 hours since the Biden administration announced an all-out assault on the second amendment, it appears we have yet another convenient mass shooting for the democrats to use as their latest excuse to take your freedoms.

Preparing for Active Shooter Situations, and Terrorist Attacks
I dedicated an entire section of my book, The Ultimate Situational Survival Guide: Self-Reliance Strategies for a Dangerous World, to self-defense topics and understanding the criminal mind.
Situational Awareness is Key to Your Survival
Unfortunately this may be somewhat harder in today’s masked world where criminals can hide in plain sight, but being able to protect yourself in an active shooter situation begins with having a good sense of what’s going on around you.
