Back in March of this year, we brought you the news that Meta Tactical would be producing a brand new 50-state legal carbine conversion kit. We recently ran into the folks from Meta Tactical at NRAAM 2022 and spoke with them briefly about the official launch of the Apex-Series bullpup style pistol to carbine conversion kit. The new Apex-Series conversion kit is available now from Meta Tactical and is shipping right to your door in a wide variety of colors and compatibility configurations.

In contrast to other currently produced carbine conversion kits that simply place your pistol into a larger frame to shoot from, the Apex-Series carbine conversion kit also includes an appropriately sized 16″ barrel that extends the range of your pistol. The initial offerings of the Meta Tactical Apex-Series carbine conversion kit will include combability with Glock, Smith & Wesson, and P80 pistols and will include most makes, models, and generations of all of these offerings and include the following caliber offerings: 9mm, 10mm, 45 ACP and .40 S&W.
The currently available lineup of stylings for the Meta Tactical Apex-Series carbine conversion kit includes Black, Gray, OD Green, and Tan, although special editions of the conversion kit will be available as well for a limited time and during special ordering events. According to the representatives from Meta Tactical, the new carbine conversion kit requires no permanent modifications to your existing pistol and only requires a simple barrel swap from your pistols stock barrel to the Meta Tactical 16″ barrel that comes with your conversion kit.
