Wolf packs are now expanding their territory into western Oregon.

This weekly column features news stories and event announcements from around the American Redoubt region. (Idaho, Montana, eastern Oregon, eastern Washington, and Wyoming.) Today, we take note that wolf packs are now expanding their territory into western Oregon. (See the Central & Eastern Oregon section.)

Commenting on this same incident I also heard from a reader:

“You know, I pulled a pair of license plates off a wrecked car and keep them as spares “just in case”. They have rare earth magnets on the back so I can just quickly pop them over my existing plates when I park somewhere. Starting to think doing that, or taking my license plates off when I park at gun shows. That might become a prudent idea.”
