In the latest attempt by the elites to police everything you do, say, and think, the online payment system PayPal is now stealing money from customer accounts that they say promote “misinformation.” Yes, you heard that right, a financial services company is now policing what you can and can’t say online, and they are threatening to take YOUR money from YOUR account for speech that they deem unacceptable.
A new policy update from PayPal was just announced that will permit the financial service company to sanction users who advance purported “misinformation” or present risks to user “wellbeing” with fines of up to $2,500 per offense.
On November 3, PayPal will institute a policy that expands its “existing list of prohibited activities”. Among the changes are prohibitions on “the sending, posting, or publication of any messages, content, or materials” that “promote misinformation” or “present a risk to user safety or wellbeing.” In addition, users are also barred from “the promotion of hate, violence, racial or other forms of intolerance that is discriminatory.” (NOTE: PayPal has removed the documentation from their site, but here is the policy 2 days ago from the web archive — we will also provide the PDF below)
The new terms state” Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a violation of the PayPal User Agreement and may subject you to damages, including liquidated damages of $2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation, which may be debited directly from your PayPal account(s) as outlined in the User Agreement (see “Restricted Activities and Holds” section of the PayPal User Agreement).”
The move comes just days after PayPal canceled three accounts linked to Toby Young, a commentator who runs a nonprofit called Free Speech Union. The organization has defended clients such as actor and comedian Russell Brand, who recently moved his show from YouTube to Rumble due to censorship from the former platform.
They are coming after your money!
A disturbing trend has developed in which banks are declining to do business with entire industries based on political opinions. Some of these industries that banks have rejected in recent years include private prison operators, gun makers and oil and gas companies. But it now looks like they are starting to police the speech and thoughts of individuals.
This, of course, is all part of the Great Reset plan to police everything you do or say and has been endorsed by most corporate financial institutions. In fact, earlier in the year, GoFundMe seized millions in funds raised for trucker protests in Canada.
PayPal had already admitted to closing accounts flagged by the liberal activist group, The Southern Poverty Law Center, in 2019. In 2021, announced a partnership with the left-leaning Anti-Defamation League to focus on “further uncovering and disrupting the financial pipelines that support extremist and hate movements.”
In a tweet from July, author and business owner J.D. Vance states, “The next stage of deplatforming will be denying people access to the financial system. Second Amendment will mean little if Visa won’t let you buy ammunition.”
The left is now attempting to use the financial services industry and your ability to conduct commerce to control what you do and say! If a person has the “wrong viewpoint,” the left will now come for “your speech, your wallet, your ability to be a citizen in a digital environment.”
When former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that people who spread “misinformation” “shouldn’t be banned from one platform and not others,” she revealed the elite’s disturbing plan for censoring content that goes against the government/media narrative.
